This piece came about in a similar way the “Keeper of the Vineyard” did where the clay told me what it wanted to be. This is a quiet yet tender piece of a seated person consoling someone who has their head on her lap. Although it is not a dramatic design, I greatly like this piece and it speaks of kindness and caring for people who are sad.
