“The Three Wisemen” was created in 2009. In early November of that same year, we had three Japanese cyclists stay with us. We met them on the street. They had their bikes fully loaded and were travelling from Alaska to Argentina and happened to be passing through Orem, Utah when we saw them and invited them to come eat and stay the night with us. In broken English they graciously accepted. They slept in my studio. When I see this sculpture of “The Three Wisemen”, I think of those three Japanese cyclists who came from the East to visit us.
Not many days after that my favorite dog got run over, so I remember Sam as well.

The human form is my subject and I use it to present my thoughts, my dreams. Themes that I like are anything that enobles man and messages that bring hope, or a renewal and an appreciation of life itself.
One of my dreams is to travel the world, sculpting all different cultures in their natural surroundings capturing the uniqueness and beauty of the human form.
I have created many sculptures and hope to create many, many more.
