Matthew Cowley

This sculpture is a portrait of a famous LDS missionary that proselyted in New Zealand the first part of the 20th century.  He was much loved by all especially the Maori people,the natives of new Zealand.  He is depicted with a textured piece across his front representing a Maori feathered cloak or Korowai.
