Kisses and Dreams was created from an actual model of a mother (Julie) and her newborn baby. The pose involved the baby sitting in her mother’s lap with the mother’s legs extended out in front of her. I noticed that during the break Julie would bring the baby up to her and kiss her. I liked this pose better than the one we were sculpting. I also brought the legs in to create a tighter form.
