“Ignominious” refers to a verse from the Bible, Samuel 17:23: “…though he died an ignominious death”. This sculpture was featured in the Phoenix, Arizona play called Cry Tiger, a play about the life of a sculptor. My pieces were used as the work of the sculptor. This sculpture, “Ignominious”, appeared near the end of the play as the sculptor’s magnum opus. I was happy with the way they displayed it and the way it was lit on stage did make it look spectacular.
