Handcart Mom

I was commissioned to do 7 panels for the LDS Church to be placed next to the museum at Martin’s Cove, Wyoming to commemorate the Willie and Martin handcart companies that crossed the plains to Utah. This panel represents a mother who was forced to carry her ailing husband and two children in the cart she pulled.
