Handcart Mom

I was commissioned to do 7 panels for the LDS Church to be placed next to the museum at Martin’s Cove, Wyoming to commemorate the Willie and Martin┬áhandcart companies that crossed the plains to Utah. This panel represents a mother who was forced to carry her ailing husband and two children in the cart she pulled.
