Crossing the Platte

I was commissioned to do 7 panels for the LDS Church to be placed next to the museum at Martin’s Cove, Wyoming to commemorate the Willie and Martin handcart companies that crossed the plains to Utah. This panel represents two females who ran into trouble while crossing the Platte river who were rescued by some men.
